Cereniti DataSense Networks Inc. appointed exclusive sub-metering products distributor in North America for Miltel Communications Ltd. (Indianapolis, 1 April 2009): Miltel Communications Ltd. of Givat Shmuel, Israel announced today that Cereniti DataSense Networks Inc. has been appointed as Miltel's exclusive North American distributor for sub-metering products. Cereniti's offering for the sub-metering market will be the DataSense Network solution, supporting a wide range of utility meters (water, gas, and electricity) in a fixed network environment. The DataSense Network solution can be implemented in both indoor and outdoor versions, supporting various meter installation locations, such as indoors, outdoors, in basements, in pits, and other difficult to read locations. The wireless transmission of data by the DataSense Network facilitates its installation in retrofits as well as new construction. Miltel's fixed network AMR/AMI system was previously marketed in North America under the brand name "SpeedRead". Cereniti's DataSense Network solution is fully compatible with the more than 1,000 SpeedRead sites, and DataSense equipment is readily utilized as replacements or additions to existing SpeedRead sites.
